APH has partnered with Freedom Scientific, a Vispero brand, to offer Fusion magnification and screen reading software on federal Quota. With each purchase, users may download a one-year JAWS or ZoomText license individually or together as one program – Fusion.
Fusion is the ultimate accessibility tool, combining the power of ZoomText and JAWS into one comprehensive software. Designed for students with low vision or blindness, Fusion offers all the accessibility features you need to enhance your digital experience. With ZoomText’s advanced magnification and screen enhancement tools, everything on your computer screen becomes up to 60x larger with screen and cursor enhancements. JAWS provides seamless speech and braille output, enabling you to comfortably navigate, read, and write documents in the format of your choice. Fusion empowers you to navigate our digital world with ease.
Fusion is compatible with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
Note: Individual licenses for JAWS or ZoomText will no longer be available from APH after December 31, 2024.

Q: Can Fusion Suite be used on more than one computer?
A: Yes. The license is not tied to a computer or device. Each license has two activations, which can be managed in the portal from any browser.
Q: What if the student is not allowed to manage their own account?
A: If a student is not allowed to manage their own account, anyone who has the log-in credentials for that student will be able to manage activations through the portal.
Q: What are the differences with Fusion Suite?
A: The Fusion Suite offers JAWS, ZoomText, or Fusion to every user. This will allow the student to use the product that works best for them. Each license now has 2 activations, one for school and one for home. The users can change products if their needs change. If they start with ZoomText but later think they need Fusion, they can make that change in their portal. Having the Fusion Suite simplifies ordering as all three products are available to any user.
Q: What if the student already has JAWS or ZoomText?
A: Any licenses students have now are good until they expire after a year and then they can purchase Fusion Suite for the next school year.
Q: How do I whitelist my computer to use Fusion Suite?
A: Frequently, access to specific URL addresses need to be whitelisted in order to install and activate software.
Our portal licenses are designed to simplify both the installation and activation of our software products. A user will create and log into their portal. The following link should be added to the whitelist.

Once logged into their portal, a user would simply select the install and activate button. There is no need to leave the portal for this option as it is all downloaded and activated automatically.
To ensure the security and integrity of our products, we host our software with Akamai. Due to this, the URL for each product and every version of our products is dynamic. The following root URL and any subdomain should be added to the whitelist.
